We had a request come in to get a list of all Purchase Card uses for the past 10 months.  You can download the full spreadsheet below.  One of the things that sticks out (if our math is correct) is that the City of Ocala, in the past 10 months ALONE, spent more than $23,000 of tax payer’s money on snacks, food, donuts, retirement plaques, trophies, and other non-necessary items (if our math is correct).  In my opinion, they shouldn’t be able to spend monies on that type of stuff at all.   If they (Council Members and Department Heads) don’t want to pay for luncheons/celebrations/whatever out of their own pockets, why would they think that the tax payers want to pay for it?
